The vocal score of this opera is notoriously riddled with mistakes and inconsistencies, many of them due to Poulenc revising the opera after the score was typeset. As regards this role, the most obvious one is that the bar before figure 12 should be a full three-beat bar, not the single beat indicated in the VS.
